How firewood delivery works

Order online in two minutes: choose Mixed Hardwoods or 100% Oak by the stack, add stacking if you want it placed, and pick your date. Delivery is $25 to $60 by zone and shows at checkout when you enter your zip. A driver brings it in a pickup, drops or stacks it where you asked, and texts you a photo. You do not need to be home. Details in what to expect on delivery day.

Why kiln-dried firewood

Every order is kiln-dried, not seasoned: the kiln takes the wood far below the moisture of a yard pile, kills insects and mold, and leaves 16 inch splits that light fast and burn hot with a clean flue. It is safe to store indoors. Read kiln-dried vs seasoned and firewood prices explained.

Questions

Where do you deliver firewood?

Across northern and central Virginia (Alexandria to Winchester, Fredericksburg, Charlottesville, Richmond), every quadrant of Washington DC, and Maryland from the DC suburbs through Baltimore, Frederick, Annapolis, and southern Maryland. Enter your zip for the exact answer.

How much is firewood delivery?

$25 to $60 depending on your zone: $25 inside the Virginia Beltway, $30 inside the Maryland and DC Beltway, $35 to $50 across the outer suburbs, Baltimore, and Charlottesville, and $60 in the Shenandoah Valley. The fee shows at checkout by zip.

How fast is firewood delivery?

Typically 1 to 5 days, and often faster close to our farm in Upperville, Virginia. Enter your zip and email and we send your exact date.

Do I need to be home for delivery?

No. Tell us where the wood goes in your delivery directions; the driver drops or stacks it there and texts you a photo when it is done.

Is the firewood seasoned or kiln-dried?

Kiln-dried, which is drier than seasoned: it lights faster, burns hotter with less smoke, and is safe to store indoors because the kiln kills insects and mold.
