Kiln-dried firewood delivered across Northwest DC, from Cleveland Park to Chevy Chase DC. The neighborhoods that order from us most, served weekly.
Upper Northwest is our single busiest corner of the District: American University Park, Cleveland Park, Chevy Chase DC, Tenleytown, and Petworth order steadily every winter. Zips 20008 and 20016 are $30 delivery, with 20011 and 20015 at $40, and our trucks run these streets weekly through the season.
Rowhouse and colonial fireplaces here are working fireplaces, and city storage is tight, which is exactly where kiln-dried earns it: no bugs or mold means the rack can live in the basement or on the back porch, uniform 16 inch splits stack compactly, and every fire lights in minutes.

Every split is dried to a low moisture content, cut to a consistent 16 inches, and safe to store indoors.
Clark's Firewood began in 2015, when 11-year-old Clark Donovan started splitting logs for his family's fires on their farm in Upperville, Virginia. Neighbors wanted wood that actually lit, burned clean, and showed up on time. So he built a business around exactly that.
Clark continues to run the company daily as a student at the University of Virginia. Over 500 returning clients across Virginia, DC, and Maryland trust us each season.
