LinkedInA decade of doing firewood right.
From a family farm in Upperville to doorsteps across the region.
How it started
One kid, a farm, and a better way to buy firewood.
When Clark Donovan was 11, he started splitting logs for his family's fires on their farm in Upperville. Neighbors wanted the same thing he did: dry, clean, properly cut wood that arrives when promised. So he built a business around exactly that.
Clark continued to run the business daily as a student at the University of Virginia. A decade in, more than 500 returning clients across the region trust Clark's Firewood, and Clark personally guarantees the quality of every order.
