Clark's Firewood began in 2015, when 11-year-old Clark Donovan started splitting logs for his family's fires on their farm in Upperville, Virginia. Neighbors wanted wood that actually lit, burned clean, and showed up on time. So he built a business around exactly that.
Clark continues to run the company daily as a student at the University of Virginia. Over 500 returning clients across Virginia, DC, and Maryland trust us each season.

Here, delivered from our farm in Upperville. Choose Mixed Hardwoods or 100% Oak in a 2x4, 4x4, 4x8, or 4x16 stack, add stacking, and pick your date at checkout. No loading a truck at a landscape yard, no roadside cord of wet wood.
We sell by the stack so you buy what fits: a 4x8 (a third of a cord, about 80 fires) is $360 for Mixed Hardwoods or $420 for Oak, and a 4x16 (two thirds of a cord) is $700 or $800, kiln-dried and delivered for $25 to $45 in Northern Virginia.
Kiln-dried, which is drier than seasoned: it lights faster, burns hotter with less smoke, and is safe to store indoors because the kiln kills insects and mold.
Typically 1 to 5 days, and often faster in Fairfax, Loudoun, and Arlington, where our runs are most frequent. Enter your zip and email below and we send your exact date.
